FINAL FRIDAY

(See - I'm back home now & can't find time to blog.... sigh....)

Friday was our "final" day in the Bahamas, so we headed back out to the beach. After all, when was the next time we'd find ourself on a beach?? So, we spent the day out there, and then ended up our day by going over and getting on the lazy river (this wasn't the rapids one where Harry got all battered -- it was a lazy river in the kids area LOL). We went round and round and round -- must have been about 8-10 times! It was really nice & peaceful over there since all the kids had left LOL!

We went back & got cleaned up, then went over to the Atlantis Marina to a restaurant called "Bimini Road". It was really good! Harry had grouper (ewww!) and I had an appetizer platter that had 1/2 a lobster tail on it, 2 jumbo shrimp, a little cup of conch salad and a little cup of crab stuff to make into lettuce wraps.

We then went up to the Atlantis Casino and walked around, then Harry ended up getting $50 worth of chips and played craps. When he doubled his money we walked away... and then ended up going down to "The Dig" (their aquarium walk-through that I wrote about a few days ago) and stopped in the gift shop & used almost all his winnings to get the kids the stuffed animal souvenirs that had asked for -- Kevin & Ryan got turtles & we got Patrick a shark.

Then we walked around outside for a bit, danced under the stars since there was a DJ outside, and looked at all the fish tanks again. Then it was time to go pack -boo hoo!
