BEACH BUM THURSDAY

Well, this wasn't Thursday -- it was Wednesday by the pool. As you can see, Harry has been working on the stack of books that is normally at his bedside or he carries around with him from city to city!
And this was the pool that we hung out at on Wednesday. The water was COOOOOOLLLLLLLL....... DEFINITELY think they are heating the water by the river / slide rides!


So Thursday we went back out to the beach. After all, that's what we're here for, right?? We were the ultimate beach bums -- had our books, our drinks, waved away the beach vendors.... Well, okay, so I did have to lie to the one drink guy who decided to cop a squat at the end of Harry's chair & sell us on his coconut drinks. But you know what? Telling the guy you're allergic to coconut sure makes him move away quickly! LOL!!!
Harry got this picture of me while I was out in the ocean. He thought he was pretty hysterical not warning me that I was about to get swamped by that wave (he shot the picture right after it splashed over my head).

Amazingly enough, I even got HIM into the ocean! We went out and bobbed around for about 30 minutes, and watched the schools of little itty bitty silver fishies jumping in & out of the wave about 5-10 yards from us.

We also learned an interesting fact at the liquor store -- it's cheaper to buy Miller products over here than the local beers LOL! The Miller stuff had 3/$5 tags on the shelves, so we picked up 3 Kalik beers figuring it was $5... but nope! $6! Guess they don't want you getting hooked on their local beer water.... ???

Dinner was quite the opposite of Wednesday night. Wednesday night we dined at the property that houses one of one of the Top 10 restaurants in the WORLD (Graycliff) and had the meat extravaganza... Thursday night we got sandwiches at QUIZNO'S. What can I say -- I have simple tastes LOL!!
