ICK YUCK!!

I haven't posted much lately, or gotten to read any of my pals' blogs. Lots of "doin's" around here, and not all of them good!

A few weeks ago I attended my cousin's funeral -- he died of cancer which to all of us, came on very suddenly, because he didn't tell anyone -- even his siblings were unaware until right at the end. On that day, Mr. Ryan started with diarehhea. And it STILL has not stopped! We've been to the Ped, but since he's not throwing up, not running a fever, still has his appetite (which is actually raging out-of-control because he is eating CONSTANTLY!!), is still his little twerpy self, all we can figure is that it is due to teething. Which isn't much consolation. They sent off one of his diapers (that poor nurse LOL!!) on Friday to the lab to make sure he hasn't picked up some sort of salmonella or SOMETHING, but we won't know anything for a few more days. And in the meantime, the Ped thinks that he has developed a (temporary) lactose intolerance, so now I'm buying $3.59 (on SALE) soy milk HALF GALLONS so that he's at least getting some nutritional something to drink. He's not been keen on his water lately, and the child won't drink juice or anything (Patrick was/is the same way), no Pedialyte, so I'm just trying to make sure he's somewhat hydrated since he poops constantly.

In between we're just trying to maintain the big boys regular schedule, and we're finishing up soccer (YAY!!) this weekend. This is tournaments, and the boys' team is ranked first right now, so there is a chance they'll actually end up playing for 1st or 2nd place on Sunday afternoon (2 games on Saturday). Kevin says he doesn't want to play again, so maybe this will at least give him good memories of playing soccer LOL!

Well, I actually got two posts written this morning, but since Ryan is starting to throw bits of Nutrigrain bar to Hannah, that is the typical "I'm done" signal, so I'd better turn around & take care of him before he starts throwing them at ME!!!
