CHRISTMAS EVE

On Christmas Eve we all had a great dinner of lasagna, which I made to the consternation of my children who think I am trying to poison them with mushrooms... I also made the candles there in the middle of the table (last year) and we light them at family holiday meals to represent those family members / families that are no longer represented around the table (grandparents, parents, etc....) and they are personalized with the applicable last names, and then those folks light their candle.





The boys then went outside to sprinkle "Reindeer Food" and ran around the whole front yard covering it. We had made it at a few playdates so we made some up for the big boys.




Before bed, they had to check one last time where Santa was on the Norad tracker.



And then set out milk & cookies. In addition, Sullen had made Santa & Mrs. Claus a gift last year that he'd forgotten to set out, so we took care of that this year. His note says that he made them a message board (& I can't remember what else it said - oops - should have written it down!).
