YO HO HO! (AND MOMMY NEEDS A BOTTLE OF RUM!)

Actually, I really DO need a bottle of rum... I keep forgetting to stop at the liquor store. But then again, I prefer to go with Ryan while he's in the middle of an awesome tantrum (or even better - all THREE of them) so that I look like I really NEED the booze, and it also gives the just-turned-21-5-seconds-ago sales clerks a good dose of birth control.





The weekend the boys went to do the butterfly conservation project (I'll eventually get around to editing & uploading those pictures) I took Ryan to Family Storytime at our library. The theme that day was pirates, which is right up HIS alley (this child is pirate ship obsessed!) and their little craft was to make a paper pirate hat. I did cut out the template of the hat & glue it to fit around his head, but he did put his little teddy bear pirate skull & crossbones with the glue on the front all by himself! He did a pretty good job, too!

Here's our little pirate digging in the front yard & having a great time saying, "Argh, me matey!"
