Our first night in St. Louis we went to "Sweetie Pie's". Gramma had seen it profiled on The Food Network's show "Diners, Drive Ins & Dives".
It is owned by a former Ikette and is a southern / soul food restaurant. Everyone either had the fried catfish filets or fried chicken wings, beans & rice, green beans and mac-n-cheese (which is why we went LOL!). The mac & cheese was really good, and gave me a few ideas on how to tweak mine -- but I really didn't think it was too far off of mine so hopefully next time you eat mine you'll agree!
