This past quarter the boys tested for both bow (the long stick) and tonfa (the wooden things that look like police nightsticks). They passed their katas with flying colors, and earned their yellow shima (the stripes on the end of their belt -- in this picture they had their orange ones) and since they now have their 2nd shimas in two different weapons, they earned the entry level club weapons patch. Daddy has a lot of sewing to do! Weapons testing is done during class time, which is why Gramma & Grampa didn't see it at Test...
