WE HAVE LIFT-OFF!

Or should that say "take -off"???

Yes, Harry has a new client... just days after we were discussing how it was getting a bit worrisome how much the marketplace had slowed down! WHEW! But, as always happens, once they decide they want him, they WANT him. They called on Tuesday & actually wanted to know if he'd come this week yet! THANKFULLY, I have "beat" enough sense into my husband that he KNEW that would NOT be acceptable, so he told them he'd be there on the 28th.

I then got busy making all the phone calls I had been putting off as being "frivolous" (because, after all, going to the Bahamas was anything BUT >eyeroll<)... So, yesterday I had my hair (roots) done so that Ryan no longer has to look at me & rub at HIS roots... and Hannah was off to the vet for a monumental bill (which I won't put down the price because I've told Harry it is just best that he NOT know...) with having tons of shots, her teeth cleaned (the thing I'd been putting off), refills on heartworm pills, etc... Then she was off to the groomer for a bath, so we have a dog with nice smelling breath and a good smelling coat right now in the house! (If only Ryan's REAR smelled so good right now - whew!)

So now he's gearing up to head back to work. He'll be in St. Louis and he's actually able to get a direct flight out of here, and even better yet, he can leave on Monday mornings!

Ryan is going to have a really hard time, because he is really a full-fledged Daddy's boy! I always thought they were supposed to be Momma's boys until around 3 or 4, but this kid will push me aside to get to Daddy LOL!! Patrick & Kevin are going to miss him, but I think they are also going to be glad to have me to themselves again -- basically because they know they can wear me down by about Wednesdays and they get away with a lot more than they do when they have two parents here to tag-team on them LOL! (Little stinkers!)
