The boys participated in their first year of the Pinewood Derby this year and did AWESOME! For their den, K came in first and P came in second so they advanced on to the Championship rounds. K ended up being the Tiger (1st grade cub scout) that made it the furthest in the Championship, so he went on to the District Championships at the end of March, where his car came in fourth of all the Tiger cubs. He missed out on a trophy by just .002 of a second!
We were really proud of BOTH boys... they worked sooo hard on their cars, and they did about 90% of all the work THEMSELVES! (Which many of the parents told us was unusual LOL!)
