K yes -
G can you swim
K yes - I can sswim underwater - that is easy isn't it G?
G - I don't know, I can't swim
K - oh, old ladies forgot how, don't they


I read them the book a new friend who wrote it mailed to us. It is abouta boy in the 30/40's. He is talking abut getting a dipper of water. So Iexplained to the boys about how when I went to visit my grandparents theydidn't have water in he house - that we went to the spring and got abucket of water then use a dipper to drink.... So later that day -getting dinner ready --- k said when you were a little girl did you cookyour meals before an open fire? G - well no, I'm not that old.......


P - these eggs are good - are they home made - I like home made
G yes,they are homemade - doesn't Mommy make homemade eggs?
K - no.
P and K okay yes she does...


K - look - I opened the child proof top
(G he had, tothe vitatmins... howevere, that was Thursday and Friday hecouldn't get it opened.. and I was mean and did not show him how)
