This morning as I let out Hannah Banana, I noticed this hot air balloon coming from Wild Horse, right over the pond! I called to get the boys outside to wave - but Kevin wasn't too sure, although HB was joining in with all the other neighborhood dogs in going absolutely CRAZY!!
It was just really weird since just the other day we'd [somehow!?!] gotten on the subject of why fire makes hot air balloons fly. Now they were able to see it for themselves! [Although, YES, Patrick still has that IRRITATING HABIT of asking "why?" to everything and wanted to know WHY they would want the balloon to go higher so it didn't hit the tops of the trees -- and yes, I did resist the urge to smack him upside the head!!]
