FIREMAN RYAN

Today, through MOMS Club, I organized a "Kids Day Out' at the local fire station. It was pretty interesting, because we got to see the Dispatch Center where ALL the city/township calls come into. Two gals work in this little cramped office - ugh! Oh well - as long as they can keep it together, that's all that matters! Fireman Bill (not the guy in the picture) gave a chat that was more for the mothers than the kids, as he seemed more interested in talking about our tax dollars at work (example -- he won't waste tax dollars to take the trucks to go out on a call to rescue a cat because he's never seen a cat skeleton in a tree & says they always find a way down LOL!)

Anyway, he was getting boring for the wee ones so I started asking Ryan if he wanted to touch stuff. LOL! (Yeah, I was *that* Mom!) Fireman Lou (guy in the picture LOL) stuck him inside the wheel and then held him up there so I could snap a picture! Doesn't he look soooo tiny!?????

I also sat him up in the truck, which I guess Fireman Bill wasn't too happy about, but C'MON -- isn't that why little kids want to go to the fire house???

Afterwards we went over to the park and he ran around a bit, then we hit Bob Evans with Erin & Evan for lunch & went home to NAP!!! YAY!!!!
