It's hard to believe that the boys are in FIRST GRADE - ACK!!! We were able to get them into the same class, despite several attempts by the school principal to convince me that it was her experience after 20+ years in education that kids be separated (and as K would say...) blah blah blah... I held my ground and thankfully they are together. That's going well, too - we had started to question ourselves in the decision to keep them together, but then after this week's shenanigans (K admitting to P that he had lied to him & he was actually afraid to sleep alone... and then P willing to put up with R getting up in the middle of the night so that he could sleep in my room) we figure we did the right thing to keep them together.

School DAZE ...
