RED ROBIN, RED ROBIN, LET THE NEIGHBORS COME OVER!

We met the O's, our old neighbors at Red Robin after Christmas. As usual, the boys had a BLAST! I'm becoming to think that there is a flaw in this system since D & I end up sitting at opposite ends of the tables and never get a chance to really chit chat!!

They gave the boys a cool ice cream ball, and the really fun thing we're gonna start working on tomorrow is a canned bean plant that as it grows, a "leaf" comes up with it that has a message on it. I'm going to do it over the course of a week with some materials I printed out from www.enchantedlearning.com, plus the books "The Tiny Seed" by Eric Carle and a book called "Watch It Grow!" from our Simply Science series. The boys saw me pulling the books and got all excited, so this should be a fun little lesson time!
