WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE....

As our friend, Jodi says, "What is it with you O-Ville's and water??!!!???"

Yep, we had another flood. 4-1/2 years in this house and this is the 2nd basement flood. With the extremely cold weather we had it froze our "freeze proof" hose faucet pipes. One burst inside the house and water came out into the basement. We were woken up by Mouth coming up into the room and asking, "Do you guys know about the puddle on the floor??"

UGH!

So much for a nice weekend!

Unfortunately, all our leftover boxes got wet, so we had to go purchase boxes to transfer stuff from wet boxes into dry boxes (nothing like adding insult to injury). The only good that came out of it is that we're going to try to go through everything that came out of the basement before it goes back in -- so maybe if we stick to that goal, we'll whittle all the c-r-a-p from the backroom down by about 25%....

Here's hoping for another 4-1/2 years before the next flood! >eyeroll<
