SNOW PLAY

It's below zero here, so of course we had to go out & play [eyeroll]. I limited them to 15 minutes and tried to stay inside, but the Wee One wanted me in attendance. (Darn!) He really is quite industrious with sliding himself down the "hill" and then dragging the sled back up. The big boys were "snowboarding" down the "hill" on their sleds. Unfortunately I didn't get a video of when Sullen was really going down with it (good thing, too, since they just told Papaw on the phone that during the Cub Scout Ski Outing they only wanted to go tubing, not skiing).

Here's a couple short videos I took while the kids were outside. Hannah was having a BLAST running around, & you'll hear me biting my tongue & not saying what I really WOULD have said (involving something along the lines of "If your Father hears that he's going to beat you!") when I was told they were going to aim for the tree... and Wee One was just trucking up & down the hill happy as a clam! (Remember, Gramma - you need to click on the arrow/carrot on the lower left hand corner of the video box in order to get it to play... there are THREE of them, very short!!

Oh look at that luscious snow! It's beautiful to look at, but I understand not want to be outside in it.

Today we are having another STUPID snow day. No school and NO SNOW anywhere! Sometimes I think the south is so ignorant! The ONE day of the week that my kids go OUT to school and it has been cancelled! UGH!
