To further validate my conviction that our children seriously lack ANY common sense...
Sullen was giving me attitude (not only do I make them change their underwear, but I also don't let them sit on their asses all day in front of a screen) so I told him to go do ten laps around the (outside of the) house. Epitome of laziness? Wouldn't even put on socks or shoes. Dippy child is out there running the perimeter of the property in 38 degree temps in bare feet.
