WHAT ARE FRIENDS FOR??

Many of you know that I have an EXTREMELY difficult time accepting help. VERY EXTREMELY difficult time. Taking off the SuperWoman cape is really hard for me; I've never been good at showing weaknesses (even though I *am* a big proponent of better living through chemicals!).

So it was difficult for me to say "Yes", but I did it on Saturday. (Mainly because Erin pestered me to pieces about it.) I let her take Ryan with her, Evan & Jeff to the "Gourds & Ghouls" festival. During that time I went & got a massage, because after Hell Month-And-A-Half, I NEEDED it. The MT wasn't able to get my back/shoulders completely loosened up after an HOUR of work, but she said she could finally sink her fingers into my tissue a bit to tell where my scapula ended and the tissue began.

Anyway, it was after all that business that I was leaning into her car to remove my spare car seat (the glory of having twins first and then a singleton -- LOTS of "leftovers"!!) that the nausea & dizziness was overwhelming & I couldn't squash it (as I had been since Wednesday night) & I started throwing up in my front yard.

So what are friends for? Well, she had brought over dinner the other night because she knew I'd been so stressed out that I hadn't been eating, and I needed a break from the three little demon spawns... Then she patted my back while I puked in my front yard -- and I'm sure she must have been gagging herself since she's not good with stuff like that -- and then she got Ryan inside, changed & up to his bed for nap. (I should have her do it every time, because that child did NOT pop back out of his room!)

Anyway, just wanted to give Erin "props" for everything she has been doing for us. It is GREATLY appreciated -- I'm just not used to accepting help so it has put me into a bit of a fluster LOL!

And if you'd like to see some of Ryan's adventures at the Fall Festival, check out the posting on Erin's blog - click here !!

Oh, stop! No props necessary. And the hole puking thing wasn't bad at all...my mom reflex must have kicked in. I just hope you're feeling better SOON!!

Ok, I'm actually OCD enough that I have to add another post to mention that I am aware I spelled WHOLE incorrectly. Thank you.
