ARCH

On our way out of town we stopped at the Arch. Since it was so late in the day, and we would have had to wait for 1-1/2 hours to go up, and still had to get on to Indy that night, we decided to pass so we wouldn't be heading into Indy at 11 pm. Well, that didn't go as planned because as we waited quite a long time to get through security to go into the bottom of the arch & view the museum, the ranger was talking about the Junior Ranger program where the kids could do this program & become a Junior Park Ranger for the arch. (If your kids are interested, there is also a Web Ranger program.) The boys were given a little workbook that correlated to the "Westward Expansion" museum -- and by time we went through it and came out, we could have been going up in the Arch. Doh! Worst part? We got to Indy at 11 pm. Argh!!!
