The boys passed their weapons test on Wednesday. Kevin can really "bring it" come test time!
They tested for both bo staff and tonfa and earned their purple stripes for both. They will continue with both weapons, and then in August there will be the weapons seminar, introducing the new rotation weapon -- this coming year it is numchuks. (Yeah, the swinging stick thingies....) Since they start out using rubber ones, and they were only $5, we decided to change our minds and let them go for it. We're such great parents -- isn't it great that we have such firm standards? ROFLMAO!!! Well, if they are rubber and only $5, sure kids, let's pick up yet another weapon!!
