After the "Big Rig Gig" on Saturday, Ryan & I headed over to the library for story time with his little friends. We were even adventurous enough to go to the pizza joint for lunch afterwards with one of our little friends! He was a bit leery at first, but then got into it & was following along with the librarian and trying to do the movements with the songs. I'll probably try to take him to the summertime ones, because the big boys are old enough to be "unsupervised" in the Children's Library so that they don't have to sit there with him (unless they want to) and they can just pick out books & read. I was glad to see him enjoy it -- it's one of the things that I wish I could schedule (you have to get a reservation & a "spot" during the school year, and it's very competitive!) but they conflict twice a month with my MOPS group, so I never felt right about taking up a spot when I knew we couldn't make it every other week... Good thing that over the summer it is "drop in" and we can go whenever :) !!
