Poor Hannah... she had to hang out upstairs on the bridge & couldn't attack any of the little kids that came to play!

Meredith got a GREAT response from Ryan when it was storytime -- he was up pushing all the buttons on the noisy book! Hmmm.... guess I'll have to look into getting one of those for him!

In all, we had about 22 Moms & Kids come to the Storytime -- it started around 9 am and the last friends left at 12:40 pm! Just in time for a well-needed NAP!

I decided that with my hostess dollars I'm going to get some books & kid kits for a fellow MOMS Club member. She found out six months ago that she had metastatic colon cancer, which actually was presenting in BOTH lungs. She's undergone 12 rounds of chemo now and still has many more to go... She has an almost 3 year and then almost 1 year old b/g twins. To help her out, her parents left their home in NC to run the household/family while Dad works full-time & especially when she's out of commission from chemo... Grandma went & had her annual physical a few weeks ago... and they found LUNG CANCER. Seems that when it was found in her daughter, she asked God to give it to her, instead. Last Friday Grandma had part of her left lung lobe removed and she's to start chemo soon with her daughter -- not the best of quality time, I'd say :( . Anyway, I figured I'd pick out some things that will help to occupy the kids while Mom & Grandma are busy with chemo & any reactions....
