This year the Easter Bunny was a bit passive aggressive. He hid some eggs in really easy spots for Ryan... but then others the kids had to beg for help to get! He also put one letter clues into eggs that had to be found, then "unscrambled", in order to get a hint as to where their Easter baskets could be found. The hilarious thing is that he "hid" them in the basement, and the kids had gotten up & rushed off to the basement to PLAY ON THE COMPUTER, and didn't even realize there were baskets down there!
Ryan had fun picking up his eggs and finding the ones with mini marshmallows in them, and we helped him find his basket under his slide. He got a Cookie Monster doll, Elmo doll, Webkinz bunny, a movie (The Bee Movie), Bearcat Pride ball cap (all 3 boys got one), some board books, bubbles & chalk.
The big boys each got their ball cap, a Webkinz bunny, bubbles, chalk, a movie (Enchanted and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium), a cross necklace, some socks, and books on the Ten Commandments and the Lord's Prayer. Their eggs contained coins, 5 $1 bills, some Dove dark chocolate pieces & some Rainblo gum eggs. Not much candy from the Easter Bunny, because he knows that Aunt Cathy likes to sugar them up!

Wow the Easter Bunny did good! I love the clues in the Easter eggs. I'll have to remember that for next year.
Greg got mad at the Easter Bunny this year b/c he felt like it was a mini Christmas and the kids didn't need that much. (I don't think it was too much- I know many things came from the $1 store.)
