PINEWOOD PAIR

Patrick's "Cobra" car won 1st Runner Up for "Most Original" car design -- we were really surprised to hear his name called LOL! The trophy is for being the 1st Runner Up in the Den races, so he did really great this year! He ran out at the Championships so we don't have an additional race of going to Districts this year (whew!).

Harry entered the "Open Race", and WON for "Best Looking" in the Open Race car category. Yes, this is the Mystery Machine, and the ONLY thing on it that is not hand-painted are the people in the windows. He even cut out a pattern & hand-painted the "The Mystery Machine" printing on the side! All the flowers, license plate, EVERYTHING was hand-painted! Just a little trivia -- did you know that the license plate was only shown in TWO episodes? Harry found that out during all his research for what was ON the license plate! Anyway, since the car was actually two cars put together it didn't roll very well >wink< -- it was REALLY wobbly as it went down the track so it was quite hysterical!!
