Each year our church holds an "Oktoberfest". The one Pastor plays accordian, they bring in a polka band, do a huge silent auction, have "german food" dinner (brats, sauerkraut, cabbage rolls, etc...) and sell little trinkets & desserts. All monies raised are for our cultural ministeries. It's a blast for the kids because there are always little crafts for them to do -- this year they made masks, decorated pumpkins, and could decorate a cookie to eat!
