Trying....

I'm really trying to get back into writing on this. All I keep wondering is how in the WORLD did I ever get so much done on the internet with TWINS??? Twerpie is SUCH an attention suck that I find myself not getting on the laptop at all. I'm sooo far behind in my emails that I'm about to just do a mass delete and hope I haven't missed anyone offering me free nanny services or something like that...

Coming up? Kids are off to school on Tuesday. P asked today how many more days until school starts. My answer? "Too many!" They will be in separate classrooms this year, which will be good, and bad. The good thing is that P seems really relieved that K won't be all up in his "stuff" all day long... the bad thing is that now they won't be able to tattle on each other -- which was the ONLY way I found out what was going on during the school day! K seems a bit nervous about it, but P is really excited. We go tomorrow night to do the teacher "meet & greet" so I'll be happy to get a look at the class list and see how it's gonna shake out this year! There are just some kids that are the equivalent of pouring Red Bull down K's throat -- he gets sooo plugged in that there is NO peeling him off the ceiling!

We're starting to try to move back bedtimes & wake-up times in anticipation of that 7:20 am bus pick-up. I'm sitting here right now thinking that if I had half a mind, I'd be on my way to bed... but I'm watching the 10 pm news and they are talking about how a lot of the area schools are letting out early due to the excessive heat / heat indexes. I'm glad my kids aren't in school - I think it would be just too disappointing to think that they were off to school, only to have them let out early LOL!!

Okay, so I've posted a bit, have a few pics up, and will try to recommit myself to checking in here daily! But now, I really need to be off to bed so that I have the energy to be the Mom of three boys tomorrow!!
