SCHOOL'S IN!!

Today is the first day of school - woo hooo! Okay, I have to admit that when my kids went off to preschool... kindergarden... 1st grade... I was a little sad. However, last night I actually cried when I went to sleep, because this is the first year I feel like I've actually sent my kids off ALONE to school. They will be in separate classrooms (although they are side-by-side, if that even matters) so it's like sending them off alone since I couldn't give them the "look out for each other" speech. :*(

I did do SOMETHING right today, though, according to my kids (and here I thought just the actual feat of getting up, having a hot breakfast omelet on the table for them, combing their hair, taking tons of pictures, getting the baby up & dressed and all of us out to the bus stop in PLENTY of time today was a pretty damn good action in itself)... I had set up a "Wake Up Call" from "Chad" (Corbin Bleu) of High School Musical. They were soooo excited when they heard it! I'm half-tempted to do it again tomorrow morning just so they can hear it again LOL!!

So now it's just me, Ryan & Hannah. It's VERY quiet here in the house (beyond the typical toddler screaming, of course). I put in the picture of Ryan at the end, because he just looked so SHOCKED when the bubbas got on the bus and drove off. Unfortunately he turned his head right as I took this picture, but he just had this really intense scowl on his face like he was trying to figure out exactly where they had gone!???!!

I can NOT believe you put your kids in Karate with weapons. Nope- I don't think I could do it. I bet Greg could talk me into it, but I wouldn't like it one bit!

Let me know if the sensei (sp?) can actually get kids to listen. Maybe I should send my boys.

BTW...I just KNOW you'll love to do this for me. :) I tag you. Go to my blog to see what you need to do. (I can hear you grumbling already and you haven't even looked at it yet)
