FUNERAL

Funeral was Tuesday and went well. Is that what you say about funerals? Ugh - what an energy drain! Anyway, visitation was 10-11, service was at 11, and we got to the cemetery about 12:15. Boys were very excited to ride in the limo, and then we held a small luncheon at a nearby restaurant for family and the few folks who would come to visit them. The boys both did okay during the service -- Kevin announced that he looked like a dummy, and Patrick was VERY interested in the process of the whole day and wanted to stay to watch the casket be officially buried. During the service, they of course kept (loudly) whispering, "Isn't he DONE yet? How much LONGER?!!??" I couldn't fault them, because I, naturally, was wondering THE SAME THINGS LOL!!!!

Harry's Mom seems to be doing okay. I think the hard part will be in a few weeks when the "giddiness" of being able to go anywhere she wants, WHENEVER she wants, wears off....
