The boys still seem to be enjoying karate -- P much more so than K. If only I could find a sport that relies on SOCIALIZATION, then we'd be all set for K! (Any suggestions, oh-faithful-readers??) We have the test coming up in a few more weeks where the boys have the chance to earn their red belt, so we'll see what happens then. We've been trying to get K to practice on the weekends, but he's just not totally "into" it. I'm just hoping it helps with his coordination / balance issues. We'll see...
The Dojo
We've been going 2 times a week which is getting OLD for me & R... but at least it is keeping them active during off-season for soccer. It will be really nice in the winter for them to have that outlet; just a pain for me. I really wish I could be one of those parents who just drops their kid at the front door & leaves, but that's just NOT me!
