HELPING FLORA

On Saturday we did the Park District's "Halloween Mini Trail"... It really is a cool program that they do each year, free to the township kids. This year we hiked around outside -- and I mean HIKED -- up and down hills, mud & all! The jogging stroller DEFINITELY came in handy! The "theme" this year was "Flora the Woodland Explorer" and they gave the kids a map to follow (which K held and wouldn't let any of the adults in our group see LOL!)... and then at the end when they had "found" the missing bumblebees, they gave them a little bag of novelty toys & 2 pieces of candy. It was so much fun & the kids are bummed that next year will be their last year to do it! R enjoyed his ride in the park!
