Sunday the 24th was H's 41st birthday!
The boys went & did their dollar store shopping (H started that tradition with my birthday, of course LOL, where the kids can go into the dollar store and pick out three things as a gift for us) and they also stirred up a chocolate cherry cake. Amazingly enough, no one sneezed, coughed, snotted, dripped or otherwise infused it with bodily fluids!!
Of course this isn't a dollar store purchase -- the kids got him a "Where the Wild Things Are" t-shirt, a book called "Be The Coolest Dad On The Block" with little stuff in it like how to do bird calls, different jokes, magic tricks, etc... and then the "Brisco County Jr" DVD set.
I know, I know -- you want to know what H got from the dollar store....
Well, he got a battling monkey pen and another pen with something on it.... A pack of mini back-scratchers, which he used for his head... a plastic King Kong monkey... a deck of cards... and of course I can't remember what the 6th item was....???
