Soccer season has started back up (shoot me now) and soon we'll be going to games on both Tuesdays AND Saturdays. They have goalies this year and have gone from 4 to 6 being on the field... and the quarters are longer, too. No more in & out 40 minute "games"! There's lots of new things to learn with this change in divisions so the team is still working out all the "kinks". P seems interested in playing goalie, but ya know, there's that whole ball-coming-right-at-you-ducking-reflex thing he needs to work on
R is doing well. We're trying to get the reflux under control and he's on Zantac. Ever tried convincing an infant that they want to take a strong minty medicine??? He's 12 weeks old now and we get about a 4-5 hour stretch at the start of the night. I'm looking forward to him sleeping through the night! It gets "old" being the one who is up every night.
As for me? No, the incision STILL has NOT healed. I'm under the care of the hospital's Wound Care Clinic which is out at the base, so at least I'm seeing a bit of this area that I'd otherwise not be investigating LOL! There is a section that is about one inch long, and 1/2 centimeter deep, that still needs to close up. After 12 weeks, I'm just getting really tired of this aggravation!
H is off to a new client now, working about 2-1/2 hours away. He's really glad to be able to drive to & from the client instead of flying (especially after the additional security measures)! He's there as the Project Manager so he finds it interesting to NOT be the one who has to get everything done LOL!
That's it for right now -- a little somebody is getting cranky because he hasn't been held in 5 minutes!
