HAPPY MAY!

Well, so much time has passed since I have written here that it would just be impossible to catch up, so I guess we'll consider this the "start from scratch" post.

Month of May has been busy; the boys have started soccer season AND t-ball season. Yes, we broke our "rule" of only one activity at a time. Guess lots change when you have guilt over a baby coming LOL! They seem to be enjoying t-ball more than they do soccer, but that may be because it is newer.

H is still working for the food folks in Dallas and they turn on their system over Memorial Day weekend. It's getting harder and harder to smile when everyone tells me to keep my legs crossed until he gets home. The joys of the crankiness of the final month of pregnancy.

The contractor has FINALLY gotten his *(@#$ together and is getting all the shutters and exterior painting done. H lit a fire under him the other day and he's actually gotten more accomplished in the past 2 days than he did in two weeks. Guess the fact that H basically told him he either got it done or he would do it was the key because the budget is drying up!!

Boys go next week to visit their elementary school. I'll be very sad to see them leave the kindy building :(. The next child(ren) will have the benefit that the school system here is changing to a kindy/1st grade school building system, so that will be nice - he could actually be at the same school for three years if he qualifies for Young 5's!

Goldilocks gets her summer shave-down on Thursday. Naturally it's been in the 50's here since I made the appointment. Poor thing is gonna be shaved & shivering!

Have had two baby showers, which has actually been really weird for me since I keep feeling like it's "wrong" with the massive twin showers we had for the boys. I keep being assured that since it was 6+ years ago that it's acceptable & the neighbors actually told me not to spoil their fun LOL! Anyway, SIL had one for me "back home" and it was great to see everyone again, even if it was for too short of a time! Then a few days later the neighbor gals had a brunch for me that was just awesome. Highlight (or maybe a lowlight? LOL!) of the shower was the neighbor TASTING the contents of the "melted candy bar diaper game" to try to figure out the answer. EWWWW!!!!
