Took the boys to the Park District's Mini Trail on Saturday. It was a BEAUTIFUL day and we had a great time taking the trail back to the field. They had a "game chart" set up where the kids walked across blocks & every few would have things they needed to do on it. Many involved stopping at a "station" such as where a butterfly was, and they were to smell some vials and tell what the scents were. Other stations had them answering nature questions, etc... H took P through, and I walked K through. At the end, they could pick whether they wanted to be "Indian Chief", "King of the Fairies" or one other that I can't remember.
P picked to be "King of the Fairies".
K decided he wanted to be an "Indian Chief".
When we asked Kevin later why he chose to be the Indian Chief, he told us it was because he thought he'd get to TP (toilet paper).
We had quite a chuckle before we could explain to him that the TEEPEE was actually a house the Indian Chief would have lived in.
LOL!
