RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL

We went to the Ohio Renaissance Festival [www.renfestival.com] and the kids had a blast! We let them each get 10 "game" coupons and they could pick what they did. They did the dunking booth ("Drench A Wench") and they let them go up and push the button so the girl fell in -- that was probably the HIGHLIGHT of their trip! While at lunch one of the "Toga Party" guys came and sat down and talked to the boys for QUITE a long time, and they ended up tossing him curly fries and he was (trying to) catch them in his mouth (that's a pic of it above).

The other pictures are of the boys trying to climb "Jacob's Ladder" and falling into the hay... and OUR personal favorite, the log joust. The kids were given "pillow bags" and were to sit cross-legged on a log, facing each other, and then they could just beat each other silly until someone fell off. Can you see WHY this was our favorite??? ~wink~

We took the boys to see the "Theatre in the Ground", which is a "mud theatre show" [www.mudshow.com] Patrick kept asking over and over when they'd dive into the mud, but when they started walking into the audience with handfuls of mud he took off running LOL!

They enjoyed the pirate "stunt show",, watching human chess, the full armour joust, and just all the fun & frolic going on! They asked to go back next year LOL!

They look like they had a great time! So how much did you enjoy watching them beat each other up?
