ALL ROADS LEAD TO PROVO

Provo, Utah, that is!

I've returned from an awesome week filled with lots of scrapbooking fun... and came back with a few small projects and two albums! Good thing was that I was able to have Sheila take a lot of the extra paper stuff and ship it to me media mail - 'cause there'd have been NO WAY it would have made it home with ME! LOL!

The experience was just awesome -- I would DEFINITELY do a CKU Albums again... I think I actually preferred it over the "regular" CKU... I have taken some digital pics and will get them uploaded to Snapfish in a bit.

The trip itself was nice. While we were both totally wiped out, and ready to return to our families on Sunday, it was hard to say goodbye to Sheila knowing there wasn't a "we'll see each other when" time coming up. We actually did not go to any of the local scrapbook shops, even though we were told it was "the" thing to do... but we did grab lunch one day at a place we'd heard RAVES about. (Sorry Utahans, but...) We really could have passed on the experience of the "dipping sauce" at The Training Table LOL! It was like Hunt's BBQ sauce mixed into mayo -- but not that good LOL.

Had several delays with the return flights so I am still just bushed... and Kevin has had snot stomach so haven't had much sleep with puke bucket boy coming into my room. Ugh. This week is soccer camp (9-11 am each day) and then Vacation Bible School (6:30 - 8:30 pm). We're to go see a concert at Fraze on Saturday night... but one of the three performers is Marc Cohn, who got shot in the head (minor injury though, thankfully!) so he has cancelled out the final concerts. Bummer.

Was glad to see the shuttle return to earth safely. Guess I shouldn't have talked too much this morning about the importance of it, because I've been fielding deep questions from Patrick all evening. "What happens when you have a heart attack?" "Why do you stop breathing?" "Why do you need to breathe?" "Is God one of my memories?" I really wish I could get answers from him about WHAT has prompted all of these questions....

Gramma wrote down some "funnies" that the boys said while she was here so I'll post those later...
