I AM...

Well, the last couple of days I've really been trying to wrap my brain around my "homework" for Creating Keepsakes University in August. I need to come up with eight "roles" that I play in life. My life, the life of my family, etc... So far I have five. Sigh...

I am... LEADER OF THE PACK. This is gonna be a tongue-in-cheek one since Hannah keeps trying to test my authority as "Alpha". Harry took a pic of us sitting on the couch playing, and she has her mouth wrapped around my forearm.

I am... THE LAUNDRY FAIRY. Haven't taken the picture(s) for this yet. Since my new goal of tackling Mt. Washmore is to throw in a load a day, we haven't had to do any wham-bam laundry days. After our vacation time will be appropriate, I'm sure! Anyway we say we have a "Laundry Fairy" that does all the laundry while everyone else is sleeping. (Hmmm....)

I am... THE FAMILY HISTORIAN. This one is simple -- just need to pull out some pics of me scrapping! (And no, I couldn't simply take a picture of me IN my scrapping AREA because that would mean I'd have to finish unpacking those boxes. Sigh....)

I am... MISSION CONTROL SPECIALIST. Need Harry to get this pic, but it will involve me in my kitchen desk area, with the laptop, bills, schedules, HUGE wall calendar, binders, etc... I think I need to spend more time organizing MY life instead of everyone else's....

I am... JULIE, THE CRUISE DIRECTOR. I am my Mother's Daughter. Whenever we go somewhere, it is expected that I will have maps, activities scoped out & planned, directions, etc... I'm *really* trying to get away from this Type A personality thing, and I did a bit when we went out to visit everyone in Vegas. You should have seen Harry's face when he asked where the directions were from the airport to Tom & Jodi's house... and I said that it actually had not occured to me to mapquest them LOL!!


So, folks, I need three more. Any thoughts??

If I were still working I'd have "Shit Shoveler", since that's what I always said I did. But hey - it was good money to peddle illusions, right??

Sheila had suggested "The Twins' Mom" since that's what we tend to get called. However, I consider that more of a definer than a role. I could do "wife", "mommy", "daughter", etc... guess I'll save all that as my "last resort". She also had suggested (since she is using it LOL) that I work something about friendships into it. Hmmm.... perhaps I could say my role is... "I Am.... Looking Pretty Today" or... "I Am... Stalking You!".

Maybe I should say I'm an R&D Analyst, since I'm trying to research why Patrick has developed a rash on his cheeks, arms & legs. All I can think of is that we had that blasted Marion's pizza last night -- well, at least if that is what is causing it I can be thankful he didn't swell up like Kevin did that one time.


Okay, so who's gonna offer up some suggestions for three more roles I play??
